1. “Freeze-Flight-Fight” or Tonic Immobility

The problems with claims of “freeze-flight-fight”.

2. Acting “Normal”

The belief that acting normal is a sign of having been sexually traumatized.

3. Delayed Disclosure

The belief that delayed disclosure is proof that the assault actually occurred.

4. Continued Relationship with the Accused

The belief that a victim continuing in relationship with the accused is proof the abuse occurred.

5. Inconsistent, Piecemeal, Changing, or Incomplete Memories 

The belief that faulty memory is proof that the claimed abuse occurred.

6. Recantation

The recantation of an accusation is proof that the abuse actually happened.
