PAI Prediction of Sexual Violence
This research summary reviews studies using the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) to predict recidivism, treatment misconduct, and compliance among people convicted of sexual offenses or civilly committed as sexually violent predators. Across the cited work, Antisocial Features and Aggression scales showed small-to-moderate associations with misbehavior, while Borderline Features scales predicted treatment violations in some samples.
