Southwest Polygraph Services, Inc was established in Tucson in 1979. They have administered thousands of polygraph examinations for law enforcement agencies, attorneys, government services, including sex offender monitoring and treatment for probation departments and therapy, for several counties in Southern Arizona. Clients include law enforcement agencies, probation departments, government agencies, child welfare services, federal and county public defenders, private attorneys, child advocacy as well as the general public.

Advance Forensic Assessments Inc. (AFA) was established in 2003 specifically for the purpose of providing highly specialized polygraph services focusing on sexual issues. To date they have conducted well over 10,000 such examinations. They focus on areas such as child molestation, sexual misconduct, sexual assault, exhibitionism, public masturbation, voyeurism and frottage. Ben Galarneau (Ga-Lar-Know) regularly travels down to Tucson to perform polygraphs inside and outside of the jail.
